Collection: Michael Jackson Vinyl Records – Thriller, Off The Wall & More

The King of Pop. Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, and when you drop the needle on it you understand exactly why — every track is a masterclass in pop songwriting and production. Nobody before or since has matched that level of cultural dominance.

Jackson's run from Off The Wall through Bad is one of the most extraordinary in music history. Three albums, three completely different statements, each one redefining what pop music could achieve. The production quality on these records is astonishing, and they reward vinyl listening enormously.

Best Michael Jackson Albums on Vinyl

Thriller (1982) — What hasn't been said about Thriller? Billie Jean, Beat It, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' — seven of the nine tracks were released as singles. The gatefold heavyweight pressing is the way to experience it.

Off The Wall (1979) — Quincy Jones and Jackson's first collaboration, and arguably the more satisfying listen. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough and Rock With You are pure joy. The gatefold pressing sounds fantastic.

Bad (1987) — Five US number ones from a single album. The Diamond Celebrations picture disc edition is a striking collector's piece. Smooth Criminal alone justifies the purchase.

Number Ones (2003) — Eighteen career-spanning hits on red vinyl. If you want the definitive Jackson overview in one package, this double LP delivers.
