Collection: Ramones Vinyl Records

The Ramones effectively invented punk rock. The first four albums — released between 1976 and 1978 in roughly eighteen months — established the template that British punk and the entire hardcore movement would build on: short, fast, melodic songs played with deliberate primitivism, sung in a deadpan voice, recorded for almost nothing. The records have lost none of their force.

The vinyl pressings of the Sire-era records — particularly the recent Rhino reissues cut from the original tapes — are well-cut and packaged faithfully to the originals. Reference-quality punk on LP.
