Collection: The Alan Parsons Project Vinyl Records

The Alan Parsons Project, the studio partnership between engineer Alan Parsons (Dark Side of the Moon, Abbey Road) and songwriter Eric Woolfson, produced one of the most distinctive progressive-rock catalogues of the late 1970s and 1980s. Ten concept albums between 1976 and 1987 combined Parsons's studio expertise with rotating vocalist lineups and Woolfson's songwriting — and the records remain audiophile reference quality.

The vinyl pressings of the Arista-era catalogue are sought-after for the production work. Parsons cut the records specifically for LP playback, and the original UK pressings — particularly of I Robot and The Turn of a Friendly Card — remain among the best-sounding rock LPs of the period.
