Havoc and Bright Lights is the eighth studio album by Alanis Morissette, released on 28 August 2012 and produced by Guy Sigsworth and Joe Chiccarelli. It became her first top five US album since So-Called Chaos in 2004, debuting at number one in Canada, Italy, Austria and Switzerland and reaching number two in Germany and the Netherlands. Where her previous album Flavors of Entanglement had been defined by introspection and stripped-back arrangements, Havoc and Bright Lights arrived as a brighter, more expansive record — melodically generous, rhythmically varied and built around the kind of emotionally frank songwriting that has characterised Morissette's career since Jagged Little Pill.

The album opens with the sweeping "Guardian" — one of three singles alongside "Lens" and "Receive" — and moves through fourteen tracks that range from the driven rock of "Woman Down" and "Havoc" to the tender closing "Magical Child", written about her son. Sigsworth's production gives the album an airy, open quality while Morissette's vocal performance across the record is among her most assured.

This Music On Vinyl reissue is pressed on crystal clear 180-gram vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, limited to just 1,500 individually numbered copies worldwide — one of the most collectable editions of the album to date.
