Description

Renaissance is the seventh solo studio album by Beyonce, released on 29 July 2022 on Columbia and Parkwood Entertainment. Subtitled Act I, it marks a bold pivot into dance music, drawing on house, disco, Afrobeats and ballroom culture to create a maximalist, sample-rich celebration of Black and queer musical lineage.

The album was conceived during the pandemic as a creative escape and a tribute to the dance floors that shaped modern pop. Producers include The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Hit-Boy, Pharrell Williams, Skrillex and No I.D., among many others, and the sample palette stretches from Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder through Robin S. and Big Freedia. Break My Soul became the lead single and a global anthem, while deep cuts like Virgo's Groove, Alien Superstar and Cuff It have all taken on lives of their own since release.

This deluxe vinyl edition presents the full 16-track album across two 180g LPs with a booklet and poster, housed in deluxe packaging.
