Description

Low is the first chapter of Bowie’s legendary Berlin Trilogy — a bold, fragmented masterpiece that fused avant-garde electronics with fractured pop. This Rhino remastered edition is pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl, housed in a replica single sleeve, and includes a lyric insert and fan club leaflet. Remastered from the original analogue tapes, the pressing captures the album’s stark textures and sonic experimentation with pristine clarity.

Produced by David Bowie and Tony Visconti, and featuring Brian Eno as sonic architect, Low was recorded at Château d’Hérouville and Hansa Studios by the Wall. Side A delivers jagged, minimalist pop — including “Sound and Vision,” “Be My Wife,” and “Breaking Glass” — while Side B plunges into ambient instrumentals like “Warszawa” and “Subterraneans.” With its fragmented structure and emotional detachment, Low redefined Bowie’s artistic trajectory and remains one of the most influential albums of the 20th century.
