Description

Between Two Points is a four-track EP by David Gilmour, featuring a vocal performance by his daughter Romany Gilmour. The title track originally appeared on Gilmour's 2024 album Luck and Strange, where Romany's voice gave the song a distinctive, ethereal quality that stood out as one of the album's highlights. This Record Store Day 2025 release expands on that collaboration with three additional versions.

The EP opens with Vita Brevis, a short instrumental prelude that first appeared as the album closer on Luck and Strange, before presenting the original album version of Between Two Points. The remaining tracks offer two remixes by Gentry, a producer and DJ whose electronic reworking of the song opens up its dreamy atmosphere into something closer to the dance floor, plus the full-length album version on the B-side.

Pressed on clear vinyl for Record Store Day 2025, this is a limited release and a beautiful standalone piece for fans of Gilmour's more atmospheric, collaborative work.
