Views is Drake's fourth studio album, originally released digitally on 29 April 2016 and committed to vinyl on 28 October 2016 via Cash Money Records and Republic Records. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 1.04 million album-equivalent units in its first week — making Drake the first artist to surpass one million units in a single week in over a decade — and went on to become the longest-running number one album of 2016, spending 13 non-consecutive weeks at the top. It is certified 8× Platinum in the United States and topped charts in the UK, Canada, Australia and beyond.

Rooted firmly in Drake's hometown of Toronto, Views is an album of explicit personal geography — its sonic palette pulling from Afrobeats, dancehall, Caribbean pop, R&B, and the city's own specific strain of melancholic rap. Drake has described it as the most honest and locally specific record of his career. Lead singles "One Dance" (featuring Wizkid and Kyla) and "Hotline Bling" are among the bestselling singles of the decade: "One Dance" spent fifteen weeks at number one in the UK and became the first song in Spotify history to reach one billion streams. Production is dominated by Drake's long-term collaborators Noah "40" Shebib, Boi-1da, and Nineteen85, with significant contributions from Murda Beatz and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

Guest appearances are used sparingly and to considerable effect: Rihanna features on the sultry two-step of "Too Good"; Future duets on the Grammy Awards-referencing "Grammys"; PARTYNEXTDOOR contributes to the breezy "With You"; the late Pimp C (via sample) and dvsn appear on the atmospheric "Faithful"; and Kanye West and Jay-Z feature on "Pop Style" (on the standard edition). The album's emotional core lies in the sequencing of its second half — the introspective sweep of "Fire & Desire", the reflective title track "Views", and the bonus track "Hotline Bling" appended to Side D.

This 2× black vinyl pressing presents the full 20-track album across four sides in a gatefold sleeve, including "Hotline Bling" as a bonus Side D closer — a track that reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and generated two Grammy Award wins for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance at the 2017 ceremony.
