Originally released on Columbia in 1998, it remains the definitive single-volume overview of one of the most successful bands in American music history — a group that sold over 90 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

The compilation covers material originally produced across multiple albums by Maurice White, Charles Stepney, and the band themselves. From the warm harmonies and horn arrangements of That’s The Way Of The World and Reasons to the synthesiser-driven groove of Let’s Groove and the Bee Gees’ After The Love Has Gone, the tracklist charts a decade and a half of consistent hit-making across funk, soul, disco, and pop.
