Description

Curtain Call 2 is the second greatest hits compilation from Eminem — the sequel to the 2005 original Curtain Call: The Hits, which spent over 500 weeks on the Billboard 200 and became one of the bestselling rap albums of all time. Released on 4 November 2022 via Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records and Interscope, this collection spans the second half of Eminem's career from Relapse (2009) to Music to Be Murdered By (2020), drawing from his solo albums as well as Bad Meets Evil (his collaboration with Royce da 5'9"), guest appearances, and film soundtrack recordings. It presents a comprehensive and chronologically coherent portrait of an artist who — against all critical expectation — remained commercially dominant and creatively restless across a period of over a decade.

Highlights are densely packed: "Not Afraid" was his first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 in a decade; "Love the Way You Lie" (ft. Rihanna) spent seven weeks at the top of that chart and became one of the most-streamed songs of the 2010s; "Rap God" broke the Guinness World Record for most words in a hit single at its release in 2013; "Godzilla" (ft. Juice WRLD) reached number three on the Hot 100 and became his highest-charting rap single since "Lose Yourself". "River" (ft. Ed Sheeran), "Lucky You" (ft. Joyner Lucas), "The Monster" (ft. Rihanna), "Lighters" (Bad Meets Evil ft. Bruno Mars), and "Walk on Water" (ft. Beyoncé) round out a tracklist that doubles as a definitive record of mainstream hip-hop's dominant commercial presence in the 2010s.

The vinyl edition includes two tracks exclusive to this pressing, unavailable on the digital and CD versions at time of release: "From the D 2 the LBC" — a long-awaited full collaboration with Snoop Dogg, interpolating Snoop's 1993 debut single "What's My Name?" — and "Is This Love ('09)" featuring 50 Cent, a previously unheard recording from the Relapse sessions. Both tracks generated significant attention on announcement and are among the most sought-after inclusions on this pressing for collectors.

Pressed on 2× 180 gram vinyl at Optimal Media GmbH in Germany, presented in a gatefold sleeve. A sticker on the front cover highlights the two exclusive tracks and the 180g specification. An authoritative career statement and an essential purchase for any serious hip-hop vinyl collection.
