Description

Mötley Crüe's third studio album Theatre Of Pain was originally released in June 1985, produced by Tom Werman. The album saw the band broaden their sound with the anthemic piano ballad Home Sweet Home, which became one of their most enduring songs, and a raucous cover of Brownsville Station's Smokin' In The Boys Room that gave the band a top five hit.

The album balances the raw energy of tracks like Louder Than Hell and Use It Or Lose It with the more polished Tonight (We Need A Lover) and Save Our Souls. Vince Neil's vocals are backed by Mick Mars on guitar, Nikki Sixx on bass and synthesiser, and Tommy Lee on drums and piano.

This 40th Anniversary limited edition on BMG presents the album on purple crush coloured vinyl.
