Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is the fourth and final studio album by My Chemical Romance, a concept record set in a post-apocalyptic California in the year 2019. A dramatic departure from the gothic theatricality of The Black Parade, the album embraces bright, high-energy pop-punk and new wave, trading darkness for colour and despair for defiance.

Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) is a relentless burst of punk energy, its singalong chorus and rapid-fire delivery setting the album's anarchic tone. SING is the album's emotional centrepiece, a soaring anthem built around Gerard Way's most powerful vocal performance. Planetary (GO!) is a danceable, synth-driven track that draws on new wave and electronic influences. The Kids from Yesterday closes the main narrative with a wistful, arena-rock sweep. Bulletproof Heart pairs a driving beat with layered guitars and one of the album's strongest melodies, while Vampire Money is a tongue-in-cheek garage-punk blast.
