Description

Definitely Maybe is the debut studio album by Oasis, released on 29 August 1994 on Creation Records. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number one and became the fastest-selling debut album in the UK at that time, eventually selling over eight million copies worldwide and establishing Oasis as the defining band of the Britpop era.

Recorded at Monnow Valley Studio in Wales and Sawmills Studio in Cornwall, then completed at Loco Studios with producer Owen Morris, the album captures a band with relentless self-belief and the songs to back it up. Live Forever, Supersonic, Rock 'n' Roll Star and Cigarettes & Alcohol became generation-defining anthems, while deeper cuts like Columbia and Slide Away showed the range and ambition that set Oasis apart from their peers.

This remastered edition, released on Big Brother Recordings (the Gallagher brothers' own label), presents the album across two LPs in a gatefold sleeve with remastered audio and includes bonus tracks from the original singles.
