The curated programme moves through the early minimalist cycling of Glassworks (Opening, Floe, Facades, Rubric), the Akhnaten and Einstein On The Beach opera extracts, selections from the Naqoyqatsi score, the Satyagraha opera, the Songs From Liquid Days song cycle, In The Upper Room dances, Philip Glass's solo piano Metamorphosis IV, and the Wichita Vortex Sutra Ginsberg setting. It's an unusually considered distillation of Glass's range — less greatest-hits, more a guided path through the catalogue.
