The Wall is the eleventh studio album by Pink Floyd, a rock opera conceived and largely written by Roger Waters that explores themes of isolation, abandonment, self-destruction and the barriers people build between themselves and the world. One of the best-selling albums of all time, it has sold over 30 million copies worldwide and was adapted into a feature film directed by Alan Parker in 1982.

The narrative follows the character of Pink, a rock musician whose traumas -- the death of his father in the Second World War, an overbearing mother, brutal schoolteachers and the collapse of his marriage -- lead him to construct a metaphorical wall around himself. Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2), with its children's choir and defiant lyric, became the band's only number one single. Comfortably Numb is one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded, its two David Gilmour guitar solos among the most celebrated in the instrument's history. Hey You opens the second disc with an urgent plea for connection. Run Like Hell and Young Lust bring raw, aggressive energy, while Nobody Home and Vera are moments of quiet, devastating intimacy. The Trial brings the opera to a theatrical climax before the fragile coda of Outside the Wall.

This 2025 reissue presents the album across two LPs on 180 gram vinyl, remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman.
