Description

A transcendent fusion of Afro-Cuban rhythms, psychedelic textures, and spiritual jazz, Abraxas is Santana’s breakthrough second album—anchored by the hypnotic Black Magic Woman / Gypsy Queen and the infectious Oye Como Va. With Carlos Santana’s lyrical guitar tone and the band’s percussive firepower, the album bridges rock and Latin traditions with mystical flair.

This 2016 gatefold reissue is pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl, remastered from the original analog tapes and housed in a deluxe sleeve featuring Mati Klarwein’s iconic surrealist artwork. Includes a 24" x 36" black-and-white poster, printed inner sleeve, and full credits. Pressed by Optimal Media GmbH, Germany.
