Utopia is Travis Scott's fourth studio album, released in July 2023 on Cactus Jack and Epic Records, and the most anticipated hip-hop record of the year — a release that had been in gestation for nearly three years, delayed partly by the Astroworld tragedy of November 2021, and which arrived carrying an enormous weight of expectation from a fanbase of exceptional loyalty and fervour. The record met that expectation: debuting at number one in the United States, the United Kingdom, and multiple other markets, and receiving the most positive critical reception of Scott's career.

Musically, Utopia is Travis Scott's most ambitious record — a sprawling double album that moves across trap, psychedelic rock, ambient electronic music, and left-field pop with a confidence that only an artist of his stature and creative autonomy could sustain. The production, which Scott oversaw with a roster of collaborators including Mike Dean, WondaGurl, and Pharrell Williams, is frequently startling in its textural invention. "K-POP" reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100; "FE!N", featuring Playboi Carti, became one of the most streamed tracks of the year.
