L.A. Woman is The Doors’ sixth and final studio album with Jim Morrison, originally released in 1971. This Rhino High Fidelity edition is a premium audiophile reissue, cut AAA from the original analog master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal Media GmbH in Germany.

Packaged in a heavyweight gatefold jacket with a Japanese-style OBI-strip, it includes a collector’s booklet featuring rare photos and recollections from band members and studio personnel, compiled by archivist David Dutkowski. The album captures Morrison’s raw vocal power and the band’s blues-infused swagger, with standout tracks like “Love Her Madly,” “Riders on the Storm,” and the title track “L.A. Woman.”
