"Angry" is the lead single from Hackney Diamonds — The Rolling Stones' first studio album of original material since A Bigger Bang in 2005 and one of the most anticipated rock records in years. Released on 8 September 2023 via Polydor Records, it announced the band's return with characteristic swagger: a driving, hook-laden rock track that sounds unmistakably like the Stones at their most energised, produced by Andrew Watt — the Grammy Award-winning producer and musician behind major records by Ozzy Osbourne, Justin Bieber and Post Malone, and named Producer of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The track was accompanied by a music video directed by François Rousselet and starring Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus), who called it "the biggest thing I've ever done." The video depicts Sweeney driving a red convertible down the Sunset Strip, serenaded by enormous billboards of the Stones across their many eras — a visually arresting tribute to the band's six-decade legacy.

This limited edition 10" black vinyl single is pressed at 45 RPM, housed in a picture sleeve, and features the iconic Stones tongue logo etched on Side B — with no audio on the reverse. Mastered by Matt at Metropolis Studios, London and mixed at Mixstar Studios, Virginia Beach. A highly collectable piece of Rolling Stones history.
