Collection: Jay-Z Vinyl Records

Jay-Z's three-decade career maps the trajectory of mainstream hip-hop from the 90s through the modern era — and few rappers have managed to stay consistently good across that long a stretch. Reasonable Doubt in 1996 already had everything in place; The Blueprint in 2001 sat at the centre of one of the most consequential producer-rapper partnerships of the era (with Kanye West); 4:44 in 2017 captured him at his most personally direct.

The recent vinyl reissues — particularly Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint — are well-cut. The original Roc-A-Fella pressings remain collectible.
