Collection: Mozart Vinyl Records
Mozart's catalogue sits at the heart of the classical recorded canon. The late symphonies, the piano concertos, the great operas and the Requiem each have multiple landmark recordings on vinyl, and the dynamic range of his orchestral writing — particularly the quiet passages of the late symphonies — is genuinely better served by LP playback than by streaming.
The Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and Philips pressings of the major Mozart cycles from the 1960s through the 1980s remain the canonical references. The recent Apex and Originals reissues bring many of them back into print on vinyl.
