Collection: Suede Vinyl Records

Suede set Britpop in motion. The Brett Anderson-fronted band's 1993 debut — released ahead of Oasis, Blur and Pulp's breakthrough records — established the glam-influenced, Bowie-and-Smiths-derived sound that the genre would build on. The Bernard Butler-era records (Suede, Dog Man Star) and the post-Butler peak with Coming Up made them one of the defining British bands of the 1990s, and the late-period reformation records have been some of the strongest work of their career.

The vinyl pressings of the Nude-era catalogue are well-pressed. Dog Man Star in particular — the most ambitious record of the period, recorded as the Butler-Anderson partnership disintegrated — benefits enormously from the LP format.

Coming Up (1996)
— The post-Butler comeback. "Trash", "Beautiful Ones", "Filmstar". Their commercial peak.

Suede (1993)
— The Mercury-Prize-winning debut. "Animal Nitrate", "Metal Mickey", "So Young".

Bloodsports (2013)
