Collection: Interpol Vinyl Records

Interpol emerged from the early-2000s New York post-punk-revival scene with one of its most fully-formed debuts. Turn on the Bright Lights in 2002 paired the rhythmic, Carlos D bass-led drive of Joy Division with a more atmospheric, reverbed guitar approach — and the band's three Matador-era records collectively stand as one of the most consistent runs of the era.

The vinyl pressings are particularly worth seeking out — the records were mixed with serious low-end that streaming compression does not respect.

Best Interpol Albums on Vinyl

Turn on the Bright Lights (2002)
— The debut. "Obstacle 1", "NYC", "PDA". One of the standout albums of its decade.

Antics (2004)
— Tighter, sharper, more song-led than the debut. "Slow Hands", "Evil", "C'mere".

Our Love to Admire (2007)
— The major-label move. More polished and ambitious; the most divisive of their records, well-aged.

The Other Side of Make-Believe (2022)
— Their most recent record. Quieter and more reflective; a real late-career consolidation.
